What are my transport/parking options?
Please park at the Parking Deck on Summit Street. No parking pass will be needed.
What should I bring?
Can I update my registration information?
Yes, but please do so by Monday, August 19. We need time to adequately prepare for your visit.
What if I can't make July 11th?
This will be our last FYC 1.0 session. On Friday, August 30, we will host FYC 2.0, the second part of the NJIT orientation. A separate registration will be available for this.
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
It will help to bring your printed receipt to scan in your information quickly. You can also use the Eventbrite smartphone app.

Center for First Year Students
The mission for the Center for First Year Students at NJIT is to assist incoming first year and transfer students in the transition to becoming successful students. Working in partnership with faculty, academic advisors, and university staff, the Center for First Year Students seeks to enhance the retention of new students by connecting them to the university and offering academic and personal support.
