Event Details

Our popular monthly social gathering features live music, signature drinks, and extended viewing hours in our galleries.

As a special treat, guests have the option of watching a live simulcast of Music and Dance, part of The Greene Space's August Wilson American Century Classic Talk Series here at the Schomburg Center:

Dramatists, scholars and historians of dance and music will consider the playwright's American Century Cycle in relation to these aesthetics. WQXR'sTerrance McKnight will explore the polyrhythmic framework of these two performance aesthetics in a discussion with choreographer/dancer Ken Robeson, who choreographed Signature Theatre's 2006 production of Seven Guitars and Bill Sims Jr., renowned American blues musician and composer of original music for Wilson's Seven Guitars and Jitney.
