Wireframing is a skeletal framework of a visual design that makes information readily accessible to the learner. Learning management systems (LMS) like Blackboard are not necessarily designed to meet the needs of millennial learners, who prefer seamless and timely access to course information. Despite this limitation, Blackboard does have features like Learning Modules, Lesson Plans and Blank Pages that facilitate more flexible learning designs. Come learn the basics of Wireframing and how you can use Blackboard to successfully wireframe any course. In addition, participants will be introduced to tools that foster interactive and game-based learning. This workshop is open to all full and part-time WSSU faculty and staff.
