Friends’ Gallery Exhibit: "Strike One's Imagination" by Schirlyn Kamara Sabur.

Original paintings, prints, greetings cards and collages of realistic works of art will be on display. In an attempt to move beyond the boundaries of depiction, Schirlyn Kamara Sabur has attempted to create original paintings with a simplistic approach. Through this exhibition, we will see the versatility in her work.

The African Dance Troupe of Franklin and Marshall College will perform “Balanta,” a Senegalese fighting dance, accompanied by the Imani Edu-Tainers  performance directed by Sonya Mann-McFarlane. Audience participation welcome. The Troupe is dedicated to bringing the traditions and culture of West Africa to the community through dance and folklore.
