This free outdoor concert will be performed for the Kenosha community at the Pennoyer Park Band Shell and will feature pops and movie music. The performance is designed to advertise the upcoming season and to give back to the Southeastern Wisconsin and Northern Illinois audience members who have so faithfully supported us over the past 75 years. Included at the event will be vendors, concessions, KSO t-shirt sales, and, of course, Kenosha Symphony musicians bringing the party to the park!
Where can I contact the organizer with any questions?
Check www.kenoshasymphony.org for more information, or contact us at email@example.com.
Do I have to bring a printed ticket to the event?
If you are seated on the lawn, you need not bring a ticket. We are only "selling" lawn tickets here to get a headcount. You need not be registered to attend, but we appreciate it if you do for our planning purposes.
If you select preferred seating, we ask you print and bring your ticket as that will allow you to access the covered seating area.
When & Where
Since 1940, the Kenosha Symphony Orchestra has been a cultural cornerstone of southeastern Wisconsin, and has entertained and educated thousands of music enthusiasts and local school children. The KSO was formed by the Department of Public Recreation – Kenosha Board of Education, with the support of community organizations in 1940; its first concert was performed in 1941. Since then, the orchestra has grown in number and skill through the high standards of its music directors, as well as the management offered by its organizational unit, the Kenosha Symphony Association, Inc. The KSA is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization whose mission is to enhance the cultural environment and fine arts community of Southeastern Wisconsin; to provide the managerial and funding support required for operating a professional orchestra capable of providing high quality, enriching, and enlightening orchestral experiences for the education and enjoyment of residents and visitors throughout the area; and to provide motivational and mentoring opportunities for music students in public and private schools throughout the area.
