All of these questions, and more, will be addressed, in a hands-on workshop by marketing and design experts, who will use real examples to illustrate their points.

Your products will be evaluated during the sessions, and you'll leave the session with SPECIFIC, ACTIONABLE ADVICE on improving and enhancing your shelf presence.

  

About the Experts:

 

Linda Frost

With over 17 years of experience on both the agency and client side, Linda has worked with a wide range of companies including Paramount Pictures, Discovery Channel, Mattel, MGM, Lindt, NBC, Voskos Greek Yogurt, Teleflora, Sunkist, Pom Wonderful and Ghirardelli Chocolate. Her designs have been showcased in several industry award publications, including PRINT and Luerzers International ARCHIVE. Her food packaging designs have been featured in gourmet stores all across the country and available in major retail locations such as Target, Walmart, Sam’s Club and Costco.

Linda received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Graphic Design from Tyler School of Art at Temple University.

 

 
Laura Missioreck
Laura Missioreck is a 20+year veteran in the design industry. She is the founder and Chief Creative Officer of The Graphic Element, a full service print + web design and development studio located in Manhattan Beach, California. 
 
One of Laura’s areas of expertise is company and product branding, especially new food and retail product launches. This process incorporates logo design, packaging, advertising, marketing materials, social media and website presence, and plays to her strengths as a forward-thinking Creative Director with a firm knowledge of how to get brands noticed.  
 
In 2009, The Graphic Element was awarded Small Business of the Year by the Manhattan Beach Chamber of Commerce. The honor was bestowed upon the company after several long-time clients nominated The Graphic Element and the work it has completed over the years. Clients represent businesses ranging from major food manufacturers to small businesses nationwide in a wide variety of genres. 

David Bernard
, Mythmaker

David is a marketing strategist and communications expert with twenty years of experience in multimedia and marketing operations. He has managed numerous brand development projects and product launches for companies such as Odwalla, Drinks that Work, Pacific Ethanol Inc, and nSpired Natural Foods.

His experience as a former broadcast journalist and video producer gives David a unique edge in identifying target audiences and crafting effective messaging.

When not in the office, Dave finds his creative outlet as a bluegrass musician and songwriter.

 

Michel Algazi

Michel has spent over 20 years building consumer brands at large and small companies, like The Walt Disney Co and Diageo. In addition to being a successful food entrepreneur, he is founding partner of The Radical Clarity Group (RCG), a consulting firm that works with food companies to creating strong brands and growing profitable businesses. He also helps his clients to raise working capital.

Michel serves as advisor to Pacific Community Ventures in the food and beverage and consumer products categories. He sits on a number of food company and non-profit boards and has been guest lecturer, on product innovation, at UCLA’s Anderson School of Management.

He is founder of The Fine Foods Group, a professional network of 750+ natural, specialty and artisan food companies in Southern California.
