Financial Peace University classes will be held once again this fall from October 13th to December 8th. One of our own moms, Jeny Vasquez, a successful graduate of FPU and former instructor of our most recent series of FPU, will be teaching once again. It is every Saturday including and between these dates, from 10am to noon at Desert Streams Church (right across the way from SMO in the same parking lot) Free childcare is provided.
***** Please take note of the following changes for this series of FPU****
*Class will be 9 weeks instead of the usual 13.
*$25 is due in person at the office before the beginning of the first class from each participant, no exceptions.
*the remaining $75 will be covered by members of the community who are willing to sponsor/adopt each participant.
*Once you sign up, we will be contacting you to provide us with a mandatory, one paragraph mini biography of you and your family's financial situation
FPU is an incredible opportunity for all of our single parents. We have had many success stories regarding saving money, managing finances, and coming out of severe debt. Below are some comments from recent graduates of FPU:
"The things you will learn in FPU will blow your mind. No matter how much you already knew before, you will learn things here too."
"This class is the best investment I ever made. No matter how bad things get, don't open another credit card account. You're adding to your stress level and a bigger problem- more debt. Find other ways to get money and work at getting rid of debt with gazelle intensity. Good luck!"
Space is limited, so sign up now! Just 9 Saturdays of classes will go immeasurably far in helping you manage your finances and better the lifestyle of your family.
