Please join us for a Financial Literacy Seminar Series (FLSS) session on Thursday, October 24 presented by Julie Agnew of the College of William and Mary.  She will discuss her upcoming paper, "Judging the Quality of Financial Advice: The Good, the Bad, and the Adviser."  You can read the abstract by clicking here.

Seminar: 3:00 to 4:30p.m.

Reception: 4:30 to 5:30p.m.

Please note the seminar will now begin at 3pm.

The FLSS is a joint initiative of the Federal Reserve Board (FRB) and the Global Financial Literacy Excellence Center (GFLEC) at the George Washington School of Business (GWSB). In the fall term, the seminars convene every other Thursday at GWSB. GFLEC at the George Washington University

Through its research and expertise, GFLEC seeks to inform policy as well as develop and promote financial literacy programs around the world.  GFLEC focuses on groundbreaking research, with particular emphasis on financial education in schools, in the workplace, and in the community.  It also is engaged in research that looks at financial literacy among women and the young.  At GFLEC, we seek to make research findings more accessible to policymakers and practitioners in order to help shape the national and international dialogue around financial literacy.
