Get the financial side of your business in order in this series of interactive financial management workshops. Workshops will be held at the SBDC on the following Tuesdays, 2:00 - 4:00 p.m.
Interpreting Financial Statements: Read, understand, and use income statements and balance sheets to manage and improve the financial performance of your business.
Identifying the Cash Flow Cycle and How it Impacts Your Business: What impacts cash flow and how does it flow through your business? Identify ways to improve cash flow and impact profits.
Using Financial Ratios to Troubleshoot and Manage Your Business: Calculate and use financial ratios to evaluate and improve the financial and operational performance of your business. Compare the performance of your business to past business history and industry averages.
Developing Forecast and Budgetary Techniques to Improve the Financial Performance of Your Business: Use budgeting techniques to understand variations in sales and expenses. Take corrective actions to improve sales, profits, and cash flow. Learn to plan for future financial outcomes instead of reacting to past financial performance.This informative workshop is a great place to start planning and getting your business started on the right foot.
Developing a Solid Business Loan Application or Funding Request: Learn the key criteria lenders and other funders use to determine if they will provide financing. Learn to develop a winning business loan application, including business plans and other financial information commonly asked for by lenders and funders.
Due to the generous support of CITI Foundation, the fee for the series, including materials, is $75.00. You can register for individual workshops for a fee of $25/workshop.
Throughout the series, you are encouraged to take advantage of the FREE and confidential business consulting provided by the SBDC. All consulting sessions are always confidential and without charge.
