One of the core values that we embrace at Waddell & Associates is that we care for our clients and associates as family. Our relationships with you and your family are a priority to us, and we rely on your feedback to help us improve and refine the services that we provide.
One thing that we have been asked to do on occasion is to counsel a younger family member on financial basics. Many of you are seeking resources to help your adult children develop a responsible and informed approach to their finances, so we have looked at ways to help. This next generation may not yet have the assets, or needs, for a full-service advisor, but they would benefit from education and guidance. With this in mind, we have decided to launch a series of educational mini-seminars to see if this is something that could be helpful to you and your family.
Our first seminar will address the fundamentals of budgeting and saving, which we believe to be the cornerstone of ANY financial plan. We will provide basic information in an informal setting at our office (5188 Wheelis Drive). Our goal is to educate, with no sales pitch or fancy financial terms. There will be time for Q&A and some take-away material.
There are currently two dates for this budget seminar – hopefully you or your family will find one date that is useful. We will be limited to 12 people at each and it will be on a first come/first served basis. We will provide light refreshments.
