Named after an underground supper club in Brooklyn, N.Y., Whisknladle is the nationally acclaimed, farm-to-table restaurant situated in the heart of downtown La Jolla, Calif. The brainchild of Arturo Kassel and Chef Ryan Johnston, Whisknladle restaurant opened its doors in 2008, offering gourmet comfort food cooked from-scratch. In that regard, it hasn't changed. The restaurant's farm-to-table style cuisine has an understated elegance, forthcoming in its display of beautiful local ingredients.
