It's Friday...time for popcorn and a good movie! Join us at the Joe Goode Annex for Film Night at the Annex, a screening of full-length works and rare clips from the company's past 27 years. This is a special chance to re-visit or experience for the first time the works of Joe Goode Performance Group. Come on out and celebrate JGPG's history of dance making in San Francisco! We'll have popcorn and plenty of drinks and treats available.
After the screening there will be a Q&A with special guests special guests Marit Brook-Kothlow (former company member), Emily Keeler (soloist in Speak for Me), and Julie Miller (film director and producer).
Without a Place
A short documentary that reveals Joe's creative process through interviews and excerpts of a performance of "Without a Place" performed at Theater Artaud in 1991. The film is directed and produced by Julie Miller and was the winner of the 1992 Dance on Camera Festival Award, New York.
