Film: Home of the Brave: When Southbury Said No to the Nazis

Rabbi Southbury’s B’nai Israel’s, Reverend Shannon Rye Wall, Pastor of the South Britain Congregational Church, Southbury's First Selectman, Ed Edelson, and local filmmaker Scott Sniffen will speak on Sunday, February 9, 2014as part of the Jewish Historical Society of Fairfield County’s February Featured Program. The showing of the 38 minute documentary, Home of the Brave: When Southbury Said No to the Nazis,and the panel discussion of its creation and the amazing story behind it, is free and open to the public, and will be held at the Stamford JCC 1035 Newfield Avenue, Stamford, CT 06905 starting at 1:30 PM with refreshments at 1:00 PM. This event is co-sponsored by the Jewish Community Center’s Jewish Arts and Film Festival.
