Representing 17 member arts organizations, the Silicon Valley Arts Coalition announces its tenth annual Fete the Press luncheon. Please join SVAC and your media colleagues on Thursday, September 19 at Bella Mia Restaurant in downtown San Jose. This year SVAC will honor Campbell Express Publisher/Editor Sally Howe and retiring Metro Newspaper Managing Editor Michael Gant for bringing quality community attention to our small budget arts organizations and events.
$30/person + $1.25 transaction fee.

Silicon Valley Arts Coalition
Twelve year old Silicon Valley Arts Coalition is made up of arts organizations that represent the ethnic diversity of the Santa Clara Valley and five main arts disciplines: dance, music, visual art, drama and literary arts. The mission of the Coalition is to increase visibility through the media and expand audiences or small-budget arts organizations. Presentations and performances by these groups have been recognized for their high quality and affordability.
Coalition members include the American Harp Society, Foothill Community Concert Series, Lyric Theatre, Mission Chamber Orchestra of San Jose, Mission Valley Chorus (Sweet Adelines), National Association of Composers, Nova Vista Symphony, Palo Alto Philharmonic, San Jose Chamber Music Society, San Jose Metropolitan Band, San Jose Music Study Club, San Jose Symphonic Choir, San Jose Wind Symphony, South Bay Guitar Society, South Bay Philharmonic, Steinway Society,The Tabard Theatre Company, Vivace Youth Chorus and The Winchester Orchestra of San Jose.
