E. Scott Sills, M.D. Ph.D

Dr Sills has helped thousands of patients achieve their dreams of pregnancy, here in Orange County and elsewhere. He is known as a skilled surgeon often consulted on rare or complex cases. Whether in his office visits to guide IVF treatment here, or at international panels to develop health policy for entire populations, Dr Sills’ compassion is known as the driving force keeping patients as his top priority. In 2004, the U.K. Government acknowledged Dr Sills’ leadership by including his data in the NHS Clinical Guidelines for Fertility Assessment & Treatment. In Geneva, his landmark paper on identical twinning was cited by the World Health Organization’s Current Practices in ART. Subsequently, New Zealand’s Ministry of Health incorporated Dr Sills’ scholarship into its national health guidelines. His efforts continue to influence German federal health policy, as his publications on PGD (co-authored with Dr Sills’ mentor at Cornell University and ICSI pioneer, Prof. Gianpiero Palermo) were placed before the Bundestag in 2002, and again in 2011. Dr Sills has collaborated frequently with IVF experts from around the world, but he is happy to call Orange County, California his home.
