A Few Featured Female Makers

Parcel & Journey was born from our own anthology of travel and discovery. We are a team of journeymen who have set out on the road less traveled to discover global craftsmanship, create beautiful artisan design, and support the communities we love.
Ellen Weldon's client roster reads like a “Who’s Who” list of New York and the companies that hold it together, but Ellen still takes the time to teach calligraphy at local schools, as well as taking the time to talk to us about her illustrious career and the beauty behind a handwritten note.
THE WAY WE SEE THE WORLD is a women owned, socially-innovative design studio based in NYC. They believe design is fundamentally a creative response to the evolving challenges of the present. Current projects include Blokket, a signal-blocking phone case, Loliware Edible Cups, and Hychia, a new hydration product using a super seed from nature. THE WAY WE SEE THE WORLD’s work has been featured in NY Times, The Wall Street Journal, National Geographic, Fast Company, and TIME.
Jin's Jams & Jellies are cooked by hand in small batches, all natural and do not contain any artificial coloring or flavors. The fruit used in each jar is harvested seasonally and locally sourced within 200 miles of our certified facility in Brooklyn. Each and every jar contains our own in-house all natural pectin.
Jewelry gave me the perfect vehicle through which I could explore and translate my three great loves—art, nature, and storytelling—into limited-production pieces made of sterling silver, high-karat gold, and gemstones. I personally make every piece at my bench at Brooklyn Metal Works and I live on the web at JudiPowersJewelry.com
Holiday cookies from the Lower Eastside Girls Club Sweet Things Bake shop are delicious and support a great cause. Designs include snowflake cookies, Gingerbread brownstones, brownies and more! The Girls Club members will also be on hand to help wrap your gifts by donation.
Kristie Betty's goal is to revolutionize the beauty industry and transform the health of its consumers from the inside out with cosmetics free of toxic additives. “I just think information is the most powerful tool for any girl.”
Diana Sierra creates visually stunning and technically impressive trees. It’s complex and challenging, but Sierra couldn’t be happier. “Day to day, I design things that are for pure consumption and replaced next season,” she says. “But once these beautiful, symbolic objects are made, they’re made to stay. They don’t have an expiration date.”
