Feds in Philly: A Federal Career Workshop
Tuesday, September 30, 2014
Temple University - Shusterman Hall
4pm - 7pm
Our program aims to educate law students about the many exciting opportunities to serve the public in the Federal sector both during and after law school. Last year, we connected 20 federal agencies with over 85 law students. Even if your agency has not previously offered positions to law students or recent graduates, we need your participation!
For area agencies, Feds in Philly provides an excellent opportunity to:
- Promote your agency to area law students from Temple, Villanova, Drexel, Penn, Rutgers, Widener, and Penn State;
- Meet with Career Services representatives from participating law schools;
- Mingle with representatives from other Philadelphia-area federal agencies; and
- Chat with students without the formality of all-day interviews.
Workshops include a panel discussion by federal practitioners and recruiters, an OPM presentation on “Navigating USAJOBS.gov,” and a networking hour.
A wine and cheese networking reception will be provided by Temple University immediately following the workshop. Agency representatives are invited to attend the entire event, but may arrive at 5:45pm for the networking hour.

Please RSVP by Tuesday, September 13, 2014.
