Join Sanford Gerber and Dominick Belfiore from the U.S. Small Business Administration as they discuss the three Federal Procurement Preference Programs.

By attending this event you will learn about the the following programs:

  1. Women Owned Small Businesses/Economically Disadvantaged Small Business Programs  
    These procurement mechanisms are meant to increase federal contracting opportunities and to assist entrepreneurs in linking up with federal contracts offering set asides.
  2.  8(a) Business Development Program
    The 8(a) Program is an essential instrument for helping socially and economically disadvantaged entrepreneurs gain access to the economic mainstream of American society. The program helps thousands of aspiring entrepreneurs to gain a foothold in government contracting. 
  3. HUB Zone Empowerment Contracting Program
    The HUB Zone Program encourages economic development in historically underutilized business zones - "HUB Zones" - through the establishment of preferences.
