Construction to Accommodate Growth in Pierce County
Please join us for an update on the construction market and upcoming projects in the Pierce County area for 2012 and beyond. Presentations will be given by two speakers from Pierce County and the Army Corps of Engineers.
Pierce County Public Works and Utilities is the first APWA Accredited County Public Works Department in Washington. Mr. Toby Rickman, the Deputy Director of Public Works and Utilities, will be providing an update on the current and upcoming projects at the County.
As the second largest county in Washington, the Public works and Utilities department handles the roadway systems, regional sewer system, surface water management utility, ferry system, regional airport, regional solid waste utility, and most recently a championship golf course and park system.
Also, Mr. Victor Ramos, with the Army Corps of Engineers will provide a presentation during the second half of the dinner meeting. He will address the current and upcoming construction activities at Joint Base Lewis-McChord, as well as the overall outlook of the organization.
Happy Hour starts at 5:30pm, with a table top presentation by Heery International on the Snohomish School Program.
