At February's meeting, Marcia Gilbert will be discussing nonprofit compliance issues as it relates to the Florida Department of State, Florida Department of Agriculture & Consumer Services, Florida Department of Revenue, and the Internal Revenue Service.
Marcia Gilbert is a Certified Public Accountant with a varied and extensive background. She received her Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Master of Accountancy from the University of South Florida. She has been the Financial Services Manager for Pasco-Hernando Community College’s Foundation, a 501(c)(3), for 14 years at this time, which encompasses accounting for $40 million portfolio of endowment funds, managing scholarships, the Foundation budget and financial statements, and contributions. She lives in New Port Richey with her Pitbull, Sugar, and her goat, Izzy!
