Evolving Your Security Model Starts Today!
 
 Abstract:

 

As attackers change their approaches so should our security models and organizations.  Tossing everything out and saying “let’s start over” is not the answer.  What we need to do is to once again is evolve our programs and adapt to the new attacks and threat landscape.  To do so we can take items from the past, present, and future to build our new strategy’s.  In this session learn some items Websense is adopting to protect themselves in this new security playing field..

James Robinson, Head of IT Security Architecture, Websense

BIO: 

James Robinson is the Head of IT Security Architecture at Websense. His key responsibilities are internal security strategy and innovation. James brings more than a decade of both IT and product engineering security leadership to Websense. He has previously held leadership positions with Fortune 150 and Fortune 100 companies including: Emerson Electric, Anheuser-Busch and State Farm Insurance. Throughout his career James has delivered solutions for network architecture and application security, penetration testing, incident response, security and risk assessment, forensics and investigations and product security.
