February 23 -- San Diego
Bright College years, with pleasure rife,
The shortest, gladdest years of life;
How swiftly are ye gliding by!
Oh, why doth time so quickly fly?
The seasons come, the seasons go,
The earth is green or white with snow,
But time and change shall naught avail
To break the friendships formed at Yale…
While the rest of the country is celebrating their bright college years in cold and snow (or global warming) join us for a BRIGHTER (and seasonably warmer) celebration in America’s Finest City. On Friday, February 24, from 6-8 p.m. San Diego alumni will reminisce about those happy, golden, bygone days at BASIC Bar in San Diego’s East Village, near PETCO Park. Basic is a fun urban lounge serving New Haven’s famous thin crust brick oven pizzas nightly until 2 a.m.
Share in a Mory’s Cup and relive your college indiscretions while simultaneously ruining one of your favorite work shirts. Or just come after work and enjoy happy hour drinks and pizza specials. Yalies of all years and affiliations are welcome. Bring your non-Yale friends, significant others, and colleagues too. Feb Club comes only once a year… Come and toast Elis of every decade, see old friends, and make some new ones.
The cost is $10 per person, but you can save $5 by bringing food donation for Feeding America. The first 50 people to arrive will receive a commemorative glass.
To help us with headcount, please RSVP online at http://www.febclubemeritus.com/ The cost will show as free since the cost for each person will depend on whether you bring a food donation. A Yale Club representative will collect payment and food donations at the venue – be sure to grab your commemorative glass if you're one of the first 50 to arrive. See you there!
