3:30 – 4:30pm Workshop by Bonita Banducci
This interactive workshop will address the differences found in both gender and cultures. It will introduce understanding and skills to “turn around” perceptions of “she’s not ready yet,” gender-linked miscommunication, and other misunderstandings to get the value of working with gender differences as competencies--and the value of utilizing “Relational” competencies along with traditional competencies. Participants will develop new language and lens to recognize and articulate what is unique about relational competencies - that have often been invisible to men and thought of by women as “common sense” - to create an ecosystem to maximize productivity and innovation.
- Acknowledging and understanding differences as competencies
- Develop skills to adapt and adopt, to utilize the strength of different competencies working together
- Reframe lack of competency such as “risk averse” to “calculated risk-taker” different from traditional “risk-taker”
- Real-world stories of how women entrepreneurs have successfully built their ecosystems to drive their business forward and achieve quantifiable business growth
- Learn how creating a program focused on the development of women entrepreneurs as leaders can pay dividends for both the business-owner and the business community as a whole

I really enjoyed the atmosphere and the enthusiastic group of women. This is the closest I have seen to a true grass-roots organization. I have attended many women’s networking groups over the years, and yours is very unique in that it has a true vibe of collaboration and support, and the women are very impressive, each and every one of them.
