The FCS Technology and Media Center proudly presents the first robotics learning lab held at the Filipino Community Center. Young children (grade 3) to middle/high school students are welcome to learn about the exciting world of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) within a fun and safe community environment. This program is focused on inspiring youth and to teach them project based team dynamics that will help improve their ability to work with others, communication skills, and build confidence in themselves.
Our beginner robotics workshops are a great place to start your journey to becoming a robot building master! In this 1.5 hour class, our friendly instructors will teach you the fundamentals of team building, motors, sensors, electricity flow via connectors, and help you to build a robot from kit to completion. Classes are geared to introduce robots to new builders -- no experience necessary.
