THE FASHION MEDIA PROJECT, EVALUATES PROVIDERS
FOR DIGITAL TECHNOLOGY KNOWLEDGE AND SUPPORT
The Fashion Media Project, focused primarily on luxury and luxury goods, will soon launch FASHION STORIES RADIO to cover the international scope of Fashion Business News.
Since the original concept was presented years ago, a significant profile has evolved and tentative launch dates have been set.
The most recent chapter for Fashion Stories is made up of research, interviews and information gathering to confirm the digital technology needed to support the start, maintenance and upgrade of the system. Improvements in the plan are constant.
And with every change in the initiative or in the market comes the realization that each step is more than an upgrade.
An event will be held, titled “Digital Technology Support” on Wednesday, April 16, 2014 - 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM to bring current associates together and hopefully attract new attention from the programmer and developer community.
Everyone is invited to /Dev/Local, a space in the middle of the technology-award northwest, dedicated to “Co-working for people who design and build software.” The office is located at 3601 Fremont Avenue North, Suite 300 in Fremont/Seattle, Washington 98103 (http://devlocal.io).

At this session you will have the opportunity to read a script plus explore plans for Content Marketing. And if you are on that path, you can learn to build your own radio show!
Of course the main dance is to discuss the digital infrastructure for The Fashion Stories Radio show.
You can meet the producer and enjoy a complimentary beverage for only $10 per person. And again, there are only 12 tickets available.
Digital Technology Support (the event) is the first step in establishing an ongoing network of engineers, planners and service providers for the terrestrial radio and server-delivered audio community.
The workbook for the buildout will be a source for best practices as the medium builds on pioneering applications.
Research is constantly augmented with data from industry organizations, suppliers, local and national broadcasters associations. Government offices, from the powerful Federal Communications Commission (FCC), The National Telecommunications Information Administration (NTIA) and City Technology staff members, are great sources for current information.
Change is the norm for the digital landscape at The Fashion Media Project.
To create and constantly feed this endeavor, an administrative crew will be established to keep the process growing.
Large capacity contractors will be considered to bring the massive structure together. Engineering, design, power assemblies, maintenance and data storage experts will be needed. A few names that have been suggested in preliminary meetings are AT&T, Amazon, Fisher and municipal systems.
Platform considerations must take in the starter needs, such as the office/hub, interfacing with various studios and basic team communications.
The next engineering plateau will be the database modeling, determining the structure for securing the database array – from desktop to supercomputer!
The Fashion Media Project will incorporate power-hungry television in future digital assumptions
Radio is first, with waiting producers, writers, studios and distribution. The producers are looking forward to further application of Fashion Business News editorial as newspaper copy, blogs and digital storytelling.
The audio will be introduced via the Internet on Web sites and as downloads. Images and related music will enhance the original stories for periodical offerings and in e-book compilations.
Therefore the accepted radio and audio digital technology must support e-commerce, subscription programs and analytics
Can the project tie into the global telecommunications networks? Are they reliable? Is there backup?
In a very serious version of “ripped from the headlines” this week, every communications entrepreneur is reminded of the ever-growing need for institutional security. The infrastructure must be monitored, transactions must be checked and services readily available to minimize any breach.
And at the same time, the broad descriptions for technology support continue to add new ground.
The Consumer Electronics category will be a part of this digital landscape. Tablets, smartphones, E-Books and E-Readers are all in the inventory.
And more options abound! Turn your attention to the proliferation of apps for every category including fashion and media.
And if you dare, try to keep up with the newest and greatest social media introductions.
There will be a push for integration with retailers for interactive displays, polling, coupons, tie-in promotions and news tips.
Respected members of the education community have offered to participate. There are many reasons. Students are excited about the opportunity to learn, to participate and to mingle with professionals. Faculty and administration leaders have echoed these feelings and are also looking for greater support from participating companies with dollars and/or equipment.
All of this leads to a concern for the traditional media outlets. When building coverage for digital engineering, is there the chance to be selfish and find options for one’s own enterprise?
The Fashion Media Project was originally a study to evaluate the effect that traditional media and the fashion industries had on one another. Spinoffs so far: Frequent trips to New York have become stepping stones to create a fashion business related travel club; Collecting contacts in the leadership circles of finance and global commerce has led to Fashion Business News.
