On June 19, 2013 Andrew W. Thornhill announced at the

AHECTA annual conference in Memphis that the Fashion

Media Project has survived years of research and development

and is fully prepared to launch specific project elements.

The ambition for the current work is to report on the

Global world of luxury and luxury goods.

The Fashion Media Project Radio Show will be launched

in the fall of this year.  Titled “What Are you Wearing

New Year’s Eve?” the monthly experience will

Spotlight east and west coast style-savvy

guests and their favorite wearables.

Fashion Bloggers Connecting is a new raft of “Stylish Mixers”

based on previous experience in Williamsburg/Brooklyn.

There is a quarterly New York Series, a monthly

National Series and the very exciting

International Series.

In January 2014, The Fashion Media Project will

co-host a “29 Tablets Symposium” in Atlanta,

Georgia.  Fashion, style, design and technology

are equals in star quality for this outing.

The Fashion Photography Exhibit will appear

in mid-2014.  The fine art gallery presentation

is strengthened by the soon-to-be-announced, the

artists and the seminars planned for the visual art run.

The Fashion Media Project includes an Internet

Video component, a traditional news-based television

show and a follow-on video-on-demand video archive

for repeat airings of the inventory.  These vital pillars

will contribute to a dedicated channel for

couture-minded audience members.

Supporting this rollout is an accomplished administration

crew, periodic orientation meetings, production

facilities in three states and fashion books as a

part of a new Design Books sales operation.

For Administration:

-- We have an office for Thornhill & Studio in Fremont.

Now designated the “newsroom” it is the home for

HEADLINES Newsletter, the official publication

of T&S due in your mailbox in January 2014.

-- Our interim headquarters has been a co-working space

in Culver City.  This will continue as the California office.

-- We settled into an agreement for a

space in Smithfield, North Carolina.

Then there is production:

-- Marketing Planning & Communications Tools

range from simple media relations to the

best of social media

-- Studio – We have entered into a production agreement

for a continuing monthly radio production

with NPR West in Culver City.

-- For backup in audio production and post-production

we are now members at Jack Straw Productions in Seattle.

-- Next month we can reveal our plans

for video (television) production

To review all of this, we have started negotiations with

additional partners.  But, before we get too far into the real

estate madness, we thought it might be the right thing to

do to let you know what is up – and get your opinions.

You can join us at Fremont Abbey

– or send your thoughts via e-mail.
