Your registration does NOT confirm your eligibility to attend as trade. We are requiring each trade partner and media representative to enter their ABC license number or Media Affiliation to determine who is eligible to attend during the Trade portion of the tasting. Family Winemakers will review trade & media registrations to ensure that our criteria for admission are met.
To qualify for admission as trade: You must be professionally involved in the purchase and/or sale of wine; media must regularly disseminate articles on wine and identify your media outlet on the form; wine industry suppliers and wineries must be Associate Members or Members of Family Winemakers to attend as trade; contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org about membership. If we have questions about your trade status or it appears that you do not meet our criteria, we will contact you.

Changes after February 21 must be made on site (bring the "ticket receipt" to have the name changed at the event site). No advance registrations accepted after February 21. Trade tickets for those that have not preregistered for the event will be on sale at the door for a cost of $40.
Photo ID and proof of trade status will be required at the door for all trade.

Our first tasting was held on November 12, 1991, in the Sheraton Palace Hotel in San Francisco. Family Winemakers had 71 member wineries back then, and 47 of them poured that night for about 350 members of the wine trade. We've grown. We have over 375 members today and many of them pour at one or all of our tastings: Bay Area, Del Mar and Pasadena. We've grown, and so have our tastings, but some things haven't changed. The wineries are just as dedicated as they were in 1991 to producing the finest wines they can, the winemakers are just as passionate about the right soil, the right grape, the right microclimate. And Family Winemakers is just as committed to presenting our member wineries and their wines at tastings that showcase the breadth and depth of winemaking in our state. Family Winemakers ...
