Join us for a summer barbecue, corn roast, music, hayride tours of Waterman Farm and fun activities for children of all ages. Open to cancer survivors, their children (up to age 18) and one adult guest. Pre-registration is required.

Driving directions:  The Garden of Hope is located at Ohio State's Waterman Farm, just northwest of the intersection of Kenny Road and Lane Avenue in Columbus. From Kenny and Lane, travel west on Lane Ave. Take the first right onto Carmack Road to enter the Waterman Agricultural and Natural Resources Laboratory. Continue on Carmack until the road begins to curve to the right. The Garden of Hope will be on your left, with a white dry erase board marking the beginning of the garden. Park alongside Carmack and join us!

JamesCare for Life

JamesCare for Life programs are designed to empower cancer survivors and their primary caregivers with new skills, knowledge and a sense of community.
 

Class offerings focus on introducing techniques, strategies and modes of expression intended to improve the quality of life of persons affected by a cancer diagnosis. Many participants have found these tools valuable and have successfully incorporated them into their everyday lives.
