Event Details

Think American Idol...for scientists! FameLab is a panel-judged competition to find the new voices of science across the world. Started in 2005 in the UK, this event is part of "season 2" here in the US. Ten young scientists will spin tall-but-true tales of extraterrestrial oceans, animal intelligence, wind storms on Jupiter, and much more - in 3 powerpoint-free minutes each!

And while the judges deliberate, we'll be treated to more science storytelling from cave diver and environmental anthropologist Dr. Kenny Broad - National Geographic's 2011 Explorer of the Year - and crowd favorite.

Come cheer on these brave souls - vote for the audience choice award - and journey with them to the cutting edge of exploring Earth and beyond!

Saturday, February 22nd • 7pm • 560 Music Center • St. Louis, MO

FREE • Reception to follow
