Niagara River Gorge

I discovered this hidden gem last time I was up in Niagara Falls. Thanks because of Niagara Parks and department of tourism for Niagara Falls this area has not been given a spotlight. That means a lack of crowds and tourists crowding the paths and photo bombing your experience while in this great Georgian woods as you descend 200' down all the way to the great Niagara River where the mighty Horseshoe and Bridal Veil Falls flow into. These emerald green waters would be categorized as class IV and V if you were allowed to raft on them. You hike right along and up to the raging torrent of water and can spot the high powered tour speed boats negotiating these rapids.

During Fall Foliage the area comes to life with colors that are just jaw dropping and awe inspiring against a blue skyand emerald green ribbon of rapids. If you were to experience any place in the northeast this is bar none a must see and must experience!
