This course will provide an overview of the Fair Housing Act’s nondiscrimination policies and procedures, including federally protected classes and prohibited activities under the law. Emphasis will be placed on Reasonable Accommodations and Reasonable Modifications for residents with disabilities as well as best practices related to service and companion animals. This session is particularly applicable to property managers, sales or leasing agents, human resources departments, and others with direct interaction with existing or prospective residents.
