Event Details

On November 20th, we will have our Faculty Technology Showcase.  This will be a short luncheon when faculty can gather together for a delicious meal, while sharing and listening to stories about new and useful technology.  Lunch will begin at 12:00 and presentations will begin at 12:30.

Topic: Book Talk "Alone Together, Why We Expect More from Technology and Less from Each Other”

When: November 20th, 12:00-1:30

Where: Griggs Hall Room 123 & 125

We will discuss challenges and responses to the popular use of mobile devices. What are the effects on our human interactions? At home? In the workplace? In the classroom? What are some appropriate responses? How can we guide our students to more balanced living with technology?
