The Events

  1. Egg Toss: In this event you will nominate two people from your team to toss an egg back and forth.  After two successful completions each team member takes a step backwards.  We play until the last team is standing.
  2. Cone/Bean Bag Toss: There will be 3 hula hoops set up in the grass.  Each hula hoop is assigned a point value--3 points for the farthest one, 2 points for the middle one, and 1 point for the closest one.  One team member stands in the hula hoop with a parking cone and another team member tosses them a bean bag. The bean bag must be caught in the cone for points.
  3. Giant Jenga: Imagine the game of Jenga but on a much larger scale. One team member will participate.
  4. Multiplication Tables: Back to the 2nd grade we go.  In this challenge you are required to select 1 person from your team to answer a full page of multiplication tables.  The first team to correctly answer them wins.
  5. Hula Hoop Contest: Each team will nominate one member to participate in the classic hula hoop off…  The team that goes for the longest gets a point.
  6. Egg Relay on a Spoon: Each team is required to race to one end with an egg on their spoon.  If they drop the egg, you have to start all over as a team. You are required to pass the egg and spoon off to every team member.
  7. Sheet Volleyball: This is a two-team competition.  You each have a sheet on each side.  The team that is serving starts with a water balloon in the middle.  They shoot it to the other side and the other team has to try and work together to catch the balloon on their sheet.  Once caught they try to get it in on the other side for a point.  You only score a point if the balloon breaks! First team to 10 points wins.
  8. Penny Grab: We will fill the baby pool up with water and pennies.  You will be required to pick up a penny with a certain year and bring it back across the line without dropping it.  Each team member goes and first team done wins.
  9. Tire Toss: We will have two 8-foot poles at one end and 6 inflatable tires at the other.  The object is 1 at a time to run down and make the tire on the pole. Once the person is back the next person can go.
  10. Noodle Event: Each team is given a pool noodles and 4 golf balls.  You have to put the noodles together and roll the golf balls down 3 noodles into the bucket.  Must get all 4 balls into the bucket.  One ball at a time on the noodles.
