EXTRAORDINARY MINDS IN MCPS
A Forum for Parents to Learn How Diploma-bound Students With Autism are Educated in Montgomery County
Administrators from Montgomery County Public Schools will present information to parents and service providers about the educational services and placements for diploma-bound students on the autism spectrum. Following the introduction, attendees can attend one of the following five break-out sessions:
- Special Education and IEP Process
- Preschool Services and Placements
- Elementary School Services and Placements
- Secondary School Services and Placements
- Transition Services
Due to the public nature of the forum, administrators will not be able to answer questions that pertain to the needs or placement of a particular student.
Thursday, March 31

7:00–9:00 p.m. Break-out Sessions
