The Experts in Residence program offers valuable opportunities for entrepreneurs to meet established professionals one-on-one to discuss business ideas, seek advise or simply have a conversation about starting and growing a business. Four 30-minute individual slots are available for business owners.
Maribel Del Real, CPA, Accounting
Maribel Del Real, CPA has over 10 years of tax and accounting professional experience. She is a Certified Public Accountant licensed to practice in Illinois and Texas. Maribel is also a Quickbooks Certified ProAdvisor. Prior to founding Del Real Tax Group, Maribel worked in the Private Company Services Tax Department of PricewaterhouseCoopers and also as a Tax Consultant for a downtown Chicago Tax Consulting Firm.
Maribel earned a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Management Information Systems graduating Summa Cum Laude from the University of Houston. She continued her academic pursuits and earned a Master’s degree in Accounting with Tax Track graduating with Honors from the University of Houston.
Maribel is active in a number of professional organizations including the American Institute of CPAs, Illinois CPA Society, Chicago Quickbooks ProAdvisors, and the Sleeter Group.
