Donna Zilkha (Admissions Expert) has counseled countless families in the US and abroad on applying to colleges and universities. For 15 years, she was involved in education policy in France as a member of the board of education of the town of Neuilly and as head of a national public interest group. She has sat on the Board of several private schools in New York City, graduated from Princeton University’s Woodrow Wilson School, and holds a law degree from Columbia Law School.
Monique Bloom (Parent Leader) has spent the past 18 years as a parent leader, community organizer and education advocate. She is a founder and facilitator of various parent mentoring and support groups on Long Island, New York. She is a past President of the Great Neck United Parent Teachers Council, and currently serves as a trustee of the Great Neck Public School District. Monique held a C-level position within a global wall street firm for 13 years before retiring to raise her kids. She is also a voting member of the Kings Point Zoning and Appeals Board, holds a BA in Economics, and is a mother of four.
Angela Conley (Financial Aid Expert) has served in admissions at many of the top schools in the country, including MIT, Cornell, and Columbia. She has also served in student leadership support at Sarah Lawrence, Barnard, and Mills Colleges. Angela holds a Master's in Education from Columbia Teacher's College. In 2011, Angela helped her students gain $1.7 million in scholarships and four national awards.
Melissa Barrett is a former high school guidance counselor who started her own college consulting business ten years ago with clients up and down the East Coast. She has served on various educational boards in Howard County, MD and as an educational advisor in her community. She holds a BA and a Master's Degree in Education and Counseling providing college consulting services for Aristotle Circle families. She resides in Ellicott City, MD with her husband and two children.
Emily Shniderman has screened thousands of high school and college students’ resumes as the Director of Peer Hiring at Aristotle Circle. As a graduate of Thomas Wootton High School in Montgomery County, Emily knows first-hand what it takes to be an effective role model, mentor, and tutor to other students. Emily earned her BA from New York University in 2011 and Masters in Social Work in 2012 from University of Maryland with honors.
Erik Kimel (Moderator) is a proud product of Montgomery County Public Schools. He founded Peer2Peer Tutors as a high school student in 2004, which was acquired by Aristotle Circle in 2012 and re-branded as Aristotle Circle Peers. Erik is a distinguished entrepreneur who has been featured in Business Week’s Top 25 under 25, Washington Business Journal’s 40 under 40, The Huffington Post, CNN, and The Washington Post. He holds a BA from New York University's Stern School of Business.
