Don't miss an extraordinary cinema event, the showing of Exodus -- the epic film about a group of Holocaust survivors struggling to get to Israel aboard the ship Exodus, and other stories about the founding of Israel. Come see it again -- or for many, come see it for the first time -- in all its restored glory on the big screen! TRS is hosting this exclusive screening at the Fairfax Cinema Arts Theater -- possibly the only time Exodus will be shown in this area on the big screen.
Exodus is based on the book by Leon Uris, and produced and directed by Otto Preminger and features Academy Award Winner Paul Newman. More details. It is a long film (208 minutes), so there will be an intermission. We will also have a brief introduction to put the film into historic context.
This event is open to all, with this caveat: Given length and subject matter, the film is better suited for children over the age of 10 (although is up to parents) and all are welcome.
Fee: $6 per adult, $4 for children under 18
Purchase your tickets here by Saturday, May 9 at midnight.
Tickets will be available the day of the event.
