Executive Connect Breakfast, featuring Kris Bliesner, CEO of 2nd Watch!
Thursday, January 17, 2013 from 7:30 AM to 9:00 PM (PST)
2nd Watch, founded in late 2010, offers a unique combination of software, services and analytics to make leveraging the cloud simple, allowing mid-size and enterprise companies to operate in AWS more efficiently, decrease risk and increase profitability. 2nd Watch is a “cloud only” company and does not sell physical datacenter technology. While their clients were mostly based in the Inland NW in 2011, this quickly changed; as of the end of 2012, over 60% of their customers are outside of the Inland NW. Headquartered in Liberty Lake, 2nd Watch currently has an office in Seattle and plans to expand into up to 3 new markets in 2013, potentially quadrupling the number of employees. In their first full year of operation, 2nd Watch has closed over $2 Million in business.
As CEO of 2nd Watch, Kris Bliesner oversees strategic development of cloud based software solutions, the technology development and customer technology solutions. Prior to co-founding 2nd Watch in 2010, Kris was CIO for Ambassadors Group, where he spearheaded a 360 degree turnaround in IT infrastructure and helped drive strategic partnerships and mergers and acquisitions. Prior to Ambassadors, Kris led several high performance engineering teams at Microsoft, and has led educational seminars and executive briefings nationwide. He holds a BS in Computer Science from Eastern Washington University.
