GUEST SPEAKER: Architecture for Humanity
Jennifer Morris, Project Coordinator of Architecture for Humanity's Superstorm Sandy Recovery Project will present on the current, ongoing efforts to assist homeowners still suffering from the effects of the storm. AFH NY's Sandy recovery project is in the process of matching homeowners who have damaged/ destroyed homes with professionals willing to do pro bono/ reduced fee work. Many of these projects need engineering help - and AFH NY is looking for qualified engineers who would be willing to donate some of their time and skills to help fellow New Yorkers still suffering after the Superstorm.
