Evil Pairing - Danish Hot Dogs and Craft Beer
Sunday, August 10, 2014 from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM (EDT)
New York, NY
San Francisco, California
London, United Kingdom
We’ve heard that Denmark is the happiest country on the planet due to social welfare, but we have the sneaking suspicion that the hot dogs and craft beer also have something to do with it.
Nothing goes better with hot dogs than beer, and nothing is better than an old world Copenhagen style hot dog with danish craft beer. R/DK will be serving their Copenhagen Street Dogs pølsevogn-style, meaning that they are topped with locally produced scandinavian pickles, crispy fried onions, chopped onions, danish remoulade, ketchup and mustard.
Beer King, Jeppe Jarnit-Bjergsø of Evil Twin brewery, has hand-selected the perfect danish craft beers to accompany these hot dogs, including “The cowboy”, served best with the rød pølse hot dog, and “Low Life” served best with the grillpølser. It’s danish happiness in sausage form, slurped down with a cold brew. Perfectly evil.
Admission is free. Beer and hot dog prices vary.
