EVERY CHILD CAN THRIVE!
5 Proven Ways Children Can Thrive, Not Survive, in School and Life
Dear Parents and Caregivers,
Raising a child is one of the most challenging yet rewarding experiences in life. The ability to teach and train a child, make decisions for their care, protect and advocate for them is a gift given with great responsibility. After 17 years of serving students and their families, we at SailAway know the struggles families face when a child doesn't learn easily or discover who they are. We understand what it's like for a child to merely survive day in and day out, in school and in life. SailAway's mission is to help each child THRIVE and become the unique person they were designed to be!
Survival has many faces and many outcomes. Is your child's story one of survival, too? What has been the outcome? Does it sound like one of these SailAway student's story?
- Maybe your 2nd grader spends more time out of the classroom that in it; she needs to be taught in challenging, stimulating ways for her. SailAway has helped families create a plan for such a child to become a capable and confident student and person.
- Maybe your son had a rocky transition to middle school and you want a better way to prepare him for high school. SailAway has supported students like him. By identifying and correcting the specific reasons that kept him frm achieving, he entered high school prepared and confident.
- Maybe your care for a child after his young mother died without warning. SailAway was there for that child and helped nurture him through the grief so he could continue to learn and heal with compassion and care.
- Maybe your daughter is an excellent student but test anxiety keeps her ACT score low and limits scholarship opportunities. SailAway helped students raise their scores by 2 points or more, high enough to receive Presidential scholarships!
Take a minute right now and imagine what it looks like for your child to THRIVE. Imagine your home full of hope, your family experiencing the joy of finally knowing how to end your child's daily struggle to survive. Imagine that you know EXACTLY how your child learns..... that you understand how they experience the world around them..... and that you know a brighter future awaits your child and family. That spells H...O...P...E...
And that's what we do at SailAway..... offer hope for that bright future. Yes, there is hope! No matter how huge or significant a child's ability to thrive seems to be, there are solutions. No matter the need, there are answers. Your child can thrive and your family can experience real freedom!
