Event Design


The #EventCanvas is a strategic management template for developing new or documenting existing events and conference models. It's a visual chart with elements describing an event's promise, how it helps stakeholders to get their jobs done, resolving pains and creating gains within a set framework of commitment and expected return. The canvas articulates how the behavior changes as a result of having participated in the event as well as stating the required levels of satisfaction against expectations. Additionally the canvas outlines the costs and expected revenues in relation to the customer journey (service design) and the instructional design of the event.

This workshop is for change-makers who want a hands-on approach to understanding, designing and delivering events that matter by using the event model canvas, which is a strategic management template for developing new or documenting existing events and conference models.



Day 1: Level 1
#EventCanvas Basic skill set and awareness - Stakeholder awareness, analysis and behaviour mapping (Empathy Maps) and basic application of the #EventCanvas to articulate how the event can change behaviour of the stakeholders. Basic skills include ability to interpret and create an #EventCanvas Boundary box and discuss stakeholder needs.
Day 2: Level 2
Familiarity with the #EventCanvas as a User Interface - Prototyping and application of the canvas to discuss, prototype and make informed decisions using the #EventCanvas as a compass for the team to create impactful events with informed team team members having used the process previously. Application of the Event Simulator, a toolkit with facilitation cards to enable team collaboration on creating events using the  #EventCanvas.

Cancellations seven (7) days before the workshop will not be honored. 70% of the total amount will be charged to your account if you fail to inform us of your cancellations before  the seven-day deadline. Cancellations should be in writing and emailed or faxed to marketing@leadimpact.asia .  Workshop participation may be transferred to another  person in the same company. This registration form, when completed, may also serve as  your billing invoice. All seminar fees must be prepaid.
