It’s time for Etsy’s fourth annual international Craft Party! Hosted by the San Jose Museum of Quilts and Textiles, our “Craft for Community” event is a Craft Supply Swap co-sponsored by the SF Etsy Street Team. Join us from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm on Thursday June 20thto meet other local creative folks, de-stash your supplies, and take home new craft making treasures. While you’re there, you can also take in the current exhibits at the museum!
Promote reuse and recycling in the crafting community by participating in our Craft Supply Swap: just search through your stash for any arts and crafts supplies that you no longer want and bring them to the Craft Party. Items do not need to be new or unopened! We’ll take any arts-and-crafts related items that are still in useable condition: fabric, yarn, beads, paper, sewing supplies, jewelry supplies, art supplies, tools…. If somebody could make something with it, bring it to donate and let it find a new crafty home! Don’t forget to bring a bag or box to carry out your new-to-you crafting goodies.
Also included are stiched and wooden merit badge crafts, while supplies last.
All this for a $5 cover at the door! A portion of proceeds will go to funding the San Jose Museum of Quilts & Textiles Community Gallery.
RSVP required through Eventbrite.
