Hey Crafty People! You've been invited to the Etsy Craft Party 2013 in Pittsburgh, PA on Thursday, June 20th, 2013 from 12 noon to 9pm! Join the fun whenever you can!
This year's theme is Craft for Community, which has been interpreted as a way to bring artsy and crafty community members together to create some fun things that will go to benefit others in the community. Please invite your friends, family members, and anyone else you know for a day of fun!
The location is currently set at the South Hills Village Mall food court in Bethel Park/Upper St. Clair. It is a public area with air-conditioning, some outlets, and lots of food options. If this changes, a notification will be sent out at least 48 hours in advance of the event day.
Arts and Crafts to be considered include painting, drawing, jewelry, knitting, crocheting, sewing, and any other artistic hobby that does not require large tools or things that could be considered weapons (knitting needles are exempt!).
* Craft Supply Swap - Bring your un-used and un-wanted supplies to swap!
Options for final products can be taken home, given as gifts, or donated as items to sell for fundraising for various groups, organizations and charities in the community and local Pittsburgh area.
Please contact me (BlackeHavoc @ etsy.com/blackehavoc(at)gmail.com) if you have ideas for donation recipients, would like to donate craft supplies, food or beverages, or any other comments, questions or concerns.
Music and refreshments will be provided! Please bring $1-2 to contribute to costs for refreshments and craft supplies.

And peek at frequently asked questions here:
What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?
Carpooling is a great option, if you know other people who will be at the event. The SHV Mall parking lot extends almost all the way around the mall, and if you get in early enough, you could be parked less than 10 feet away from the food court! Handicapped parking is also available.
What can/can't I bring to the event?
Please bring any arts and crafts or hobby materials that you will use or would like to contribute to the overall group crafting event. Also bring a friend, food, and some money!
Please do not bring anything that could be considered a weapon (hammer, box cutter, knives, etc). Knitting needles, sewing needles, scissors and x-acto knives should be okay as long as they are used appropriately.
Where can I contact the organizer with any questions?
The organizer can be contacted by email at BlackeHavoc(at)gmail.com, through messages on blackehavoc.etsy.com, Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, Skype, deviantART and any other website I am connected to.
Is my registration/ticket transferrable?
Your ticket is transferrable only if you cannot make it to the event yourself.
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
Only if you want to waste a tree. If you have a mobile device, that is fine!
The name on the registration/ticket doesn't match the attendee. Is that okay?
That's fine as long as the named attendee is with you.
