Event Details

Course Summary: We have two exciting topics for our March training - ethics and fraud!  It will truly be a day of contradictions.  The ethics training will be focused on internal audit, so it will be more relevant to your day-to-day job duties.  Our fraud training includes forensic auditing, which will be taught by Adam Drucker of the FBI and will focus on the financial investigation into the 9/11 attacks, which should prove to be quite interesting.  As an added bonus, this training session qualifies as four hours of ethics CPE for the Maryland CPA license.

Speakers:

  • Pam Verrick, Solution Leader - Fraud and Corruption Risk Management, Protiviti (Fraud)
  • Adam Drucker, FBI (Forensic Auditing - the Financial Investigation into the 9/11 Attacks)
  • Steven Minder, CEO of the YCN Group, former CAE and former Corporate Ethics Officer (Ethics)

Time: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM (registration begins at 8:00 AM); lunch is included

CPE Credits: 8
