Description

What does it mean to “Be Christian?” If a person wanted to establish a clear understanding of the absolute essential beliefs of the Christian Faith, what would they be? This is a crucial issue because some now believe that perhaps no such list of irreducible convictions exists. But nothing could be further from the truth. The fact is that there is an identifiable set of foundational beliefs of biblical Christianity. These represent the non-negotiable and minimal convictions that have been historically and universally required for persons to be considered “Christian.” These essentials are the core Christian content that legitimize those who are Christian and those who are not. Holding anything less or different than these fundamentals fails to meet the minimal standard. For this reason, it is important for every Christian to remember and understand them. These beliefs form the basis for Christian fellowship and church membership.

Come for our dynamic three-week series on Sundays at Northwood High School where you will interact with Talbot School of Theology (Biola University) professor Dr. Freddy Cardoza. Together, we will learn six theological principles of biblical Christianity that will ground you more deeply in the truth of God’s Word. Class dates are Sept. 28, Oct. 5, and Oct. 12.
