As we go about our daily life, we tend to get caught up in the business of routine tasks, forgetting to see things as they really are. Over time, we become pre-occupied, and some life experiences bring our minds and hearts down. We don’t take the time to slow our inner thoughts and to live in the present moment. For this reason, it is necessary to set aside sacred time for reflection and meditation. Join us, under the direction of Bhante Sumana and Bhikkhuni Vimala, as they guide us in our spiritual journey and mindfulness practice. Please attend, whether you have studied Buddhism or meditation for many years, or you just want to learn how to be more peaceful in your daily life.
9:00 to 9:30 AM - Welcome.
9:30 to 10:00 - Gentle yoga.
10:30 to 11:00 - Tea Break, (snack provided).
11:00 to 12:30 PM - Sitting and walking meditation.
12:30 to 1:30 - Lunch, (bring your own lunch), or go to the restaurant of your choice.
1:30 to 3:00 - Tea and Metta Sutta (Loving-Kindness Discourse) Study, with Bhikkhuni Vimala and Bhante Sumana.
