Lazy B Farm is thrilled to have Patricia Kyritsi Howell back as a guest speaker. She’s a fabulous teacher and you’ll certainly finish the weekend with a whole lot of knowledge!
This weekend introduces some of the most important herbs for every day family health care. We’ll start by learning about herbal actions (the terms used to describe the way herbs work in the body) and the difference between acute and chronic health problems. Using this framework, we’ll discuss more than twenty herbs that can be used in a wide variety of situations. You’ll get lots of practical information about how to create an herbal treatment using teas, tinctures, syrups, baths and more.
By the end of the weekend you will know how to safely and efficiently use herbs to treat infections, digestive upsets, pain, cramps and spasms, headaches, wounds, anxiety, insomnia, colds, flu and much more.
Note: If you have no previous experience using herbs, we recommend that you do some reading prior to the seminar in order to understand basic terms. We suggest reading Chapter’s 1 & 2 in Rosemary Gladstar’s Medicinal Herbs: A Beginner’s Guide by Rosemary Gladstar ($10.00 on Amazon.)
This is a 2-day event, March 23 and 24th. Your registration includes both days.
