Espresso 101 is geared for the entry level home user who is interested in producing better espresso at home. it consists of basic primer on espresso from grind adjustment, dose/distribution, and to tamp/packing. There will be a discussion of thing to avoid, visual cues, and proper timing as well as the keys to getting a good extraction. A section will be dedicated to diagnosing common machine issues as well. Basic grinder and machine maintenance will be discussed. Attendees will receive a reference guide for better espresso and will have limited time on a professional setup.
