Join us in celebrating our past and looking toward our future at Envision Our World, a cocktail reception taking place on October 4, 2012 at the Eventi Hotel in New York City.

This inaugural event celebrates A CALL TO MEN's ten years of working with men and boys throughout our country and the world to prevent violence and discrimination against women and girls.
In a roomful of dynamic supporters and friends, we will reflect on our ten year journey as we hear from inspiring men and women who are preventing violence and promoting healthy and respectful manhood in their communities.

During this exciting evening, we will honor and hear from a number of men and women who have exhibited outstanding leadership in ending violence against women and girls, including Peter and Jennifer Buffett of the NoVo Foundation, Rose Kirk of the Verizon Foundation and our very special guests - Tony Award winning Playwright, performer, activist, and author of The Vagina Monologues, Eve Ensler, Super Bowl Champion Defensive Tackle for the New York Giants and founder of the Chris Canty Foundation, Chris Canty, and Composer, Singer & Producer, Morley.

Envision Our World will raise crucial funds to benefit our many programs and services. Throughout our ten years of groundbreaking work, A CALL TO MEN has gained unprecedented leadership status in the domestic violence and sexual assault prevention communities across the country.

Our trainings and programs have traveled far and wide - from community centers, to domestic violence and sexual assault prevention agencies, to high schools and college campuses, to athletic fields as well as corporate board rooms. We tailor our trainings and programs to meet the needs of each community we serve, whether it is a small domestic violence organization just beginning to include men and boys in their violence prevention efforts, or an NFL team looking to develop players and advance their knowledge about the role that men can play in ending violence against women and girls, a high school working to end dating violence or bullying, or a government agency or business seeking support with policy creation. In each of these instances, and hundreds more, A CALL TO MEN provides education, strategies, and tools to engage men in violence prevention efforts and develop boys to value women and girls and become the best men they can possibly be.

Thank you in advance for supporting the mission of A CALL TO MEN - and helping to create the future that you want to see for the women and girls in your life.

A CALL TO MEN

A CALL TO MEN is a leading national violence prevention organization providing training and education for men, boys and communities. Our aim is to shift social norms that negatively impact our culture and promote a more healthy and respectful definition of manhood. We believe that preventing domestic and sexual violence is primarily the responsibility of men. Although historically it has been almost entirely women who have been at the forefront addressing this issue, we think it is essential that men play a primary role in the solution. To do that, well-meaning men…men who, for the most part don't see themselves as part of the problem…need to get involved. Our vision is to shift social norms that define manhood in our culture and create a world where women and girls are valued and safe.
